Co-Creating XR Spaces for Youth Engagement: Dr Paul Keating

This presentation will explore the structured collaboration between Game Artists and Designers and Youth Workers and Young People to envisage, design and develop a Virtual Reality space for youth work. The project links the core design team with fourteen youth workers and their youth groups through a structured Masters’ programme. The youth groups represent those young people who find it most difficult to access face to face activities and see this medium as a route into youth work. Under ERASMUS KA2 Virtual Youth Work, brings together National and international Youth Networks (YWI and ERYCA), youth work organisations in 5 European countries and 2 Universities with strong Games Development Programmes (TUS and HOWEST
