National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning

The Strategic Alignment of Teaching and Learning Enhancement Funding in Higher Education (SATLE) is a €5m funding allocation administered by the Higher Education Authority’s National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.

The current focus of the SATLE allocation is on promoting innovation, collaboration, and the enhancement of teaching and learning practices across Irish higher education institutions, with an emphasis on sustainable development, digital transformation and academic integrity.

 

Virtual Labs HCI P3 Initiative

The Virtual Labs HCI P3 Initiative is a consortium of five higher education institutions, Maynooth University (lead), Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest (TUS), Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT), University College Cork (UCC) and  Dublin City University (DCU) who have come together to work on an innovative projected focused on the use of virtual laboratories as a teaching tool for the chemical sciences.
