Seneca wrote this in his Letters from a Stoic, making the case that knowledge and wisdom are hollow unless shared — that the value of any discovery or insight is multiplied through fellowship.

Our programme for today is just as ambitious as last year, with presentations and discussions in a variety of formats and we hope that you leave TUS filled with ideas and the motivation to integrate immersive technologies in your practice, as well as a network of connections within a growing community of Extended Reality (XR) developers, researchers, educators and users.

We are delighted to have some highly successful exhibitors at the symposium and we encourage you to find out about their work. We would also love you to interact with the students who have entered our student competition and ask questions of presenters who will share their work with you. We encourage you to get involved in the workshops and share your own experience of using immersive technologies- we have a lot to learn from each other!

We would also like to draw your attention to our commitment to sustainability and encourage you to be mindful of sustainable practices before, during and after the event.

Finally, this document is intended to provide guidance for the symposium and as such is a living document. We will update it as necessary to ensure the information is relevant for you.
