A Virtual Tour of the Library

Since the project aim was to explore the use of immersive technologies to enhance the student experience, the project team wanted to explore how other areas within the university might benefit from an immersive experience. Library colleagues in TUS support students and staff in a variety of different ways, and following lots of brainstorming and research, project team member and TUS Athlone Systems Librarian, Assumpta Byrne, decided to create a virtual tour of the library for students to view either in VR or online.
