Student cohort: Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD)
An additional element of the study involved an online training session delivered collaboratively with a lecturer and students from Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD) and the OER librarian. This session provided students with a practical demonstration of Inspiration in a real academic context, allowing for interactive engagement and discussion. Feedback from attendees was very positive, with students highlighting the clarity of the instruction, the usefulness of the software for organising ideas, and the supportive learning environment created during the session. These comments reinforce the overall findings of the study, demonstrating that guided training can further enhance confidence, understanding, and willingness to adopt mind mapping tools in academic and creative work.
