RUN-EU overview

The Regional University Network – European University (RUN-EU) is an alliance of ten higher education institutions across Europe that collaborate to create a “European University” with shared teaching, research and innovation initiatives. It focuses on fostering sustainable regional development, promoting student mobility, and creating joint, challenge-based learning opportunities across nations. The alliance includes institutions in Ireland, Portugal, Finland, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Czechia and Romania.

RUN-EU strives to secure the sustainable economic, social, cultural, and environmental progress of its regions and stakeholders. RUN-EU implements this mission by jointly delivering on the future and advanced skills necessary for its students and regional stakeholders to successfully meet the challenges of the future, engage in societal transformation and promote active citizenship.
