Social care workers require a broad knowledge of human development, social justice, health and wellbeing, and evidence-informed practice. They apply theoretical frameworks and develop skills to support individuals, families, and communities. Relationship-building, advocacy, creative interventions, and critical reflection underpin effective social care, alongside the ability to adapt to diverse service user needs across various contexts.
